I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Theatre Studies from Guelph University, followed by a Law degree from Queen’s University Belfast. I began my legal career articling at a real estate law firm, gaining useful knowledge in title and property law, which has complimented my practice in family law when dealing with property division.
After completing my articles and passing the NCA equivalency exams, I was called to the bar in June 2023. Since then, I have dedicated my practice exclusively to family law, dealing with complex issues from property division and support to parenting matters. I have represented clients in various legal settings, including counsel-assisted mediation, arbitration, conferences and appearances in the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice, and assisted with an appeal. My expertise in negotiating and drafting domestic contracts has reliably resolved client matters through fair settlements.
My passion for family law is deeply personal, stemming from experiencing my own parents' divorce at a young age. This experience has made me an empathetic advocate, particularly attentive to the subtleties of family dynamics. In all cases, I prioritize a child-centric approach, ensuring that while the children are shielded from conflict, their voices and futures are not disregarded.
As a dependable and caring family lawyer, I am committed to putting my clients first guiding them with expertise and understanding through their most challenging times.
